So, I must take a minute to brag on my son. This weekend we went to the golf range (a BEAUTIFUL day in the mid-80's by-the-way) and Nolan started on the driving range as usual. We then moved to the putting green. Nolan and Frank were having a contest of who could get their ball in the hole in the least amount of strokes. As they were setting up for their last hole (a tight race)... they set their balls about 16 feet from the hole. Nolan goes first and sinks it on his first shot! We were all amazed!! (measure that out if it sounds easy!) Frank goes next and completely misses. Well, I then tell Nolan to try that again as I would like to get a video of it.
Frank laughs and says, "Nikki, do you know how hard that is? We will be here all day waiting for him to sink another one from there!"
But, Nolan and I aren't detered!! He sets his ball up, aims....and misses.... sets up again, aims...and misses.... sets up again, aims and .......
WOO-HOOOO!!! He is now 2 of 4 shots! (Frank is laughing and now frantically trying to sink one!) So we watch Frank for a little bit (still missing them all) and Nolan decides to try another one. He missed the first and then....sinks ANOTHER one!!! That is 3 (THREE) of 6 (SIX) attempts at 16 feet away!!! (PS...ssshhhh..... Frank never made one.... in over 15 attempts... hee hee giggle giggle).
SO proud of my "Little Tiger"!!!
