Monkey See . . .

Monkey Do!

That about sums up my precious Little Flower right now.  Laura wants to do, say, go, be everything her brother does!  It is sometimes hilarious ... like when she is wants to tell us the same story that Nolan just told us ... but doesn't quite know all the words.  She just picks a few and does the hand jestures, facial expressions and laugh!  She is full of energy and has a full vocabulary.  

Here are some fun things she is doing/saying right now that I want to remember:

• She's obsessed with the potty chair and is forever wanting to take her diaper off and "go stinky".  But, it usually just means run around the house naked!
• "Pooh-dee" is pillow and she likes to try to lay on mine/steal it and giggle.
• "Fingy" is finger and "gooney" is goodness.
• She sings.  "Rock-a-Baby" and "Five Little Ducks".  Very cute!
• She loves to play the piano.  I actually have this on video, but haven't gotten a chance to show you my Mozart!  Lol... she puts her whole body into it! :)
• She has just about boycotted her high-chair and wants to sit in "my chair"...meaning a regular chair.  But, this just means that she takes a bite, then dances/tiptoes/walks around the kitchen while she eats.  She doesn't really care for that sitting down/holding still stuff.

• Going for bike rides with her takes a looonnggg time!  She likes to stop every couple feet and pick up a stick, leaf, nut, whatever she can find and hide it in the seat of her bike.
• She's working on four teeth.
• She loves to give hugs and kisses.  And you usually get both, not just one or the other.
• She loves babies and sometimes insists on holding REAL babies.
• She has started to enjoy books.  She may not let you read all the words on a page, but likes to go thru and point out certain items in each book.

• We've hit the "rollercoaster" food ride with her...one day she may like a food, not like it the next.  However...that does not apply to cheese!  She L.O.V.E.S. cheese! :) :)  A true Wisconsin Cheesehead!!  "Cheese please" is heard MANY times a day around here.
• "Na-na" is Nolan, "La-la" is Laura
• She loves to brush her teeth...but loves her tongue brushed more!  (weird, huh?)
• She will randomly request her "jack" (jacket) to wear while playing inside...even when it's hot out.  

Well, that is all I have for now.  She is a fun little peanut, very busy, and we love her to pieces! :)
