Frank has off on Fridays (yay!), so one Friday, we set out for a little hiking trip to see the area.
The first thing needed in the Land of Sunshine ... Sunglasses (Laura lost hers...good thing Big Brother had an extra pair)!
The first spot we stopped to "hike" wasn't passable with the jog stroller (needed for Laura), so we moved on.
We found a little trail that wasn't quite what we were used to...although it did have a little lake :).
Here is the view from the spot we stopped for a snack. It was very quiet, sunny and beautiful.
It was there that Nolan decided to take on rock climbing and Laura was rather pleased with him!
