During the summer, many people take a family camping trip to the lake, setup a tent, sleep in sleeping bags (on the hard ground with the bugs), and rough it in the outdoors.
We are not one of those families.
HOWEVER...in wanting to give my kids the fun of camping...
we built a tent in the living room and ate our lunch in it!
And had s'mores cookies for dessert!
They even put out their sleeping bags that night!
They pretend that blue blanket is a lake and I pretend we went camping!
Great fun!!
