We took a family trip to Target. Before we left, Frank told Nolan that he had $3 to spend there. But that was it. He could choose whatever he'd like...but only $3.
So, as we went thru the store, he pointed to item after item asking its price. We came upon a spring, garden area and there was a blue watering can.
"Dad, how much is the watering can?"
"$3"
"That's what I want."
"What?! Are you sure? You can't get anything else. That's it. Are you sure?"
"Yup. I want the watering can."
"Okay!"
Well, Daddy couldn't resist getting something for him to use his watering can on, so he went and found those little "Kits to Grow a Flower" pots in the $1 Spot of Target. Frank picked out two sunflowers (in case one didn't work) and then brought it home and helped him put it together.
Nolan is pretty excited to water it everyday. Hopefully he has a green thumb and we don't drown it!!!
