Setting: Nolan had his Doctor set out and was "working" on his truck.
Me: What are you doing, Nolan? How is the truck?
Nolan: Well, the fever went back into his head! It happened so fast!

Setting: Playing with his electric train. One of the trains has an open "buckets" to haul things. We were using orange darts as carrots.
Me: Where are you going with those carrots?
Nolan: I am taking them to the farm.
Me: Well, didn't you just pick them up from the farm? Don't you want to take them to the store or market for people to buy?
Nolan: Well, I have to take them to another farm to finish growing because they aren't the right shape yet.

Setting: We were driving to church with my mom, Mimi.
Nolan: Know who's bigger than anything?
Mimi: Your dad?
Nolan: Nope.
Mimi: Papa?
Nolan: God. He's bigger than mountains I think.
Mimi: Yup, he is! God made the mountains!
Nolan: Yeah, God can move mountains, I heard!
(His tone in that last comment cracked us up!)

Just curious what Laura is doing/thinking in photo of her hugging Nolan on the beach? Is she trying to save him from the waves? friendly hug? hiding safely behind her big "bruder" (Nanna's name for Brennen at her age)TOO CUTE!! love the new border also!
