Nolan has been talking a lot about rocketships lately. So, I had an idea last night to make a little project along those lines (yes, my own idea! amazing!). This is the rocket that Nolan made out of shapes today. I drew the various shapes on paper, he cut them out and glued it together. Once this was done, he was thoroughly enjoying the glue and proceeded to glue "stars" (of various shapes) into his sky. The "big window" on the rocket was an oval. He had a little bit of a hard time cutting that out...so more practice with that. He knew all his shapes though and wants to do another! Success!!
