Last night, we carefully did some "leaf rearranging" in his abode, so I was able to get this great close-up picture. Since the leaves were dying and crumpling around him, we weren't able to see him that well and were nervous how he'd get out when he became a butterfly.
That "line" (I have no idea the technical term) and the three "dots" are so pretty in real life. They actually have a shimmery glisten to them! And you can see in the picture if you look close....the green is "swirled" so pretty with lighter shades of green that are almost white!
Anyway, this chrysalis has to become black and then he eventually emerges. So, we continue to wait! :)
*By the way...the chrysalis is only about 1 & 1/4 inches long.
